This large 90 X 90cm square panel, is painted in encaustic wax medium, in the blues, ink-blacks and turquoises of the south Pacific.
Across the panel, you can dive into the detail of channels; the bombora wash of the waves coming in from the deep; the submerged corals and its quiet centre.
The translucencies of the encaustic medium invites both the inquisitive close-up view, and the across-the-room delight.
