Winter 2026 art & music news
Hi friends,
We’re now into our Australian winter, and here’s a few things I’ve got going in the pipeline. While I’m exploring email options for subscribers (it costs!), I’ve decided to send links to my blog as a way of keeping in touch.
Here’s a few things to keep you in the loop re my Art & Music!
June 6, ‘26
“Marginal” 60 × 60cm. Encaustic (beeswax + damar resin, with pigments)
IN ART
I’ve planned a slightly quieter year, and mostly have used the year to focus on painting and entering just a few art exhibitions. You can always keep updated by visiting my EXHIBITIONS page.
Upcoming ones: SALA (August) events at Pepper Street and Brookside Cellars
August 29 & 30 - exhibiting a new larger work “Back Track” for the Loreto Spring Art, Marryatville, SA. Go to my PORTFOLIO to view it.
2027 commissions - Each year, I plan to accept a couple of commissions.
If you’re interested to commission a piece of my unique encaustic art for your home, business or as a gift, read more at the COMMISSIONS page, and be in touch.
I’ve loaded my shop with some smaller works - digital art, topped with encaustic medium. Going out cheap! And also some landscape-inspired pieces. SHOP HERE.
Playing at Cafe Komodo in May, with Ashley, Ron & Nigel.
IN MUSIC
We’ve enjoyed some little gigs so far this year and I’m setting up some fresh gigs for the second half of the year. Be in touch, if you’d like us to play at your venue, event or home concert.
Keep up with all gig details at Musical Happenings.
That’s it for now.
Be safe, be happy!
